The screening is being co-hosted by UNAIDS and will be shown at the UN House at 10.30am on Wednesday 16th June.

We are honoured to have one of the film’s subjects, Mary Muthoni Rop with us from Kenya to share her experiences of being a disabled person living with HIV.

"What I face is a triple stigma. I'm disabled, and many people in Africa see that as being a burden to society. I'm a woman, and am seen as the weaker sex, which doesn't often have a voice here. And I'm HIV positive, with all the issues that brings."

The documentary showing will be followed by a short presentation of the UNAIDS Disability and HIV Policy Paper and a Question & Answer session with Mary, and Jessica de Ruijter from VSO Netherlands, an IDDC member.

To attend the screening, please email your name, position and organisation to Fiona Koefoed-Jespersen: fiona.koefoed-jespersen (at) eu-cord.org by June 15th.
